September 27th, 2014 - Jordan Yaggy Competes in Knoxville Late Model Nationals
1After a month away from the track, Jordan Yaggy returned to the seat of his #77 Arnie Ranta Motorsports/Rocket/Pro Power Racing Engine Super Late Model during the 11th Annual Lucas Oil Knoxville Late Model Nationals at Knoxville Raceway (Knoxville, Iowa).

Thursday night's preliminary event boosted a $7,000 winner's check, as seventy-nine entries filled the pit area at the famed, 1/2 mile oval. Jordan struggled in time trials, which positioned him starting in the back of his heat race. He advanced to a ninth place finish, sending him to C-Main where he failed to reach a transfer position as his night came to an early end.

On Friday night another $7,000-to-win event was contested, as Yaggy once again found himself at the back of a heat race. He raced his way to a eighth place finish in the heat race, earning him the seventeenth starting spot in the C-Main. Jordan advanced to a ninth place finish in the C-Main, but only the top four advanced to the B-Main, bringing his night to another disappointing early end.

Jordan's preliminary efforts earned him the pole position for the D-Main. He raced to a second place finish, which transferred him to the back of the C-Main. Yaggy battled his way through the field to record a ninth place finish in the C-Main, leaving him just short of a transfer spot as his weekend came to a disappointing end.
